I began working in the tile industry approximately 13 years ago. I worked for 7 years in tract housing construction, and after so many years in that industry I realized it was time for a change. I was installing the same tile every time, and with speed rather than quality which is what drives the tract housing industry. The change I wanted was in the way that my craftsmanship was perceived, I wanted to produce quality work that I was proud to stand behind and change the relationship between the customer and the contractor to a more personal level.

       In 1999 I started King Flooring. With the skills acquired from the years of work experience as a high-end production tile flooring installer I set out to run my own business. I brought the skill and speed I learned from previous jobs, which has enabled me to tackle large jobs with efficiency, and still produce the quality workmanship that is missing today in this industry working at my own pace rather than a builder's deadline. One valuable piece of knowledge which I have learned is the ability to do Float Work. Many of today's contractors lack the knowledge handed down from the previous generations in the tile industry. You are making an investment in your property, and having it done right the first time is most important.

       Throughout the years the tile industry has made several advances, and King Flooring has continued to stay atop of these changes to better serve our customers. We use the highest quality in installation materials, grout sealers, and install only the newest technology in crack isolation membranes. We also utilize reputable cement-float techniques, and install hot mopped shower pans rather than thin vinyl waterproofing membranes.

       Our work includes custom homes, residential remodels and occasional home repair. I have always believed that high quality workmanship and customer satisfaction are the most important things in my business. I want the customer to be as happy and excited about their finished product as I am.
